Student Help Desk / IT Support



Started in 2012, students from the Cisco Networking Academy at
North and South Technical High Schools are an important part of the METC Conference team. These students provide IT support to the various conference presenters, as well as attendees. Their help is invaluable and helps keep the METC Conference running smoothly. We welcome any Student IT Teams to assist us and participate!

This authentic experience has been a highlight of both teachers and students for the past several years. Our METC Student IT Support Specialists learn skills for troubleshooting and computer basics in their schools, along with soft skills for professional communication and customer services. They put these to the test during the three days of supporting our 2,000+ attendees. Many have been hired due to their experience with our conference.
