Before you submit a Proposal!

Session Strand
& Session Type
Prior to beginning your submission, be sure to familiarize yourself with the NEW 2019 Session Strands and Session Types.

Proposal Template

Use our Proposal Template Planning Doc to assist you in planning your submission.  This Google Doc walks you through all of the questions that will be asked during the Proposal Submission, allowing you to think through your answers before submitting. Our system will time out, so be sure to save often so you can return where you left off. The template allows you to copy and paste the text into the online proposal.

If you have issues submitting your session, please try these solutions:

1. Use a different Web Browser
2. Use "Incognito Mode" in Chrome
3. Clear the Browser Cookies or Browsing Data
4. Contact Brian Lankheit at

*NOTE: When submitting your session proposals, it helps to begin by clearing the cookies in your browser.  If you are using Google Chrome, you may do this by going to "Settings>Advanced Settings>Content Settings> Cookies".  From there, scroll down until you see a search bar option, search for CVENT and remove all of those cookies.

After you submit a Proposal

Once you submit your submission(s), you should receive a confirmation email.
***If you do not receive a confirmation email, something went wrong and it must be re-submitted.***

Presenter Requirements
All METC presenters are required to register for the conference by the Early-Bird Deadline, November 13, 2019. After acceptance notices have been sent, presenters will receive instructions on how to register to receive the presenter discounted rate. Presenters are highly encouraged to provide a link to any presentation resources to be shared with their audience. METC will not collect your resources to share, however we will encourage you and others to collaborate in collecting links to sessions through an Online Crowd-Sourcing Method as well as through social media, tagging us @METCedplus and using our hashtag #METCpd & #METC20.

Exhibitor Demo Sessions
Organizations interested in presenting an Exhibitor/Sponsor Demo Session should submit a session proposal. There will be a limited number of demo sessions available and they will fill quickly.

*Submitting a proposal does not guarantee a spot; demo session submissions must be accepted and the organization must sign up as an Exhibitor or Sponsor when registration opens in August 2019.

Be sure to follow us on social media @METCedplus and our conference hashtag #METC20. If you have any questions, please contact Mandi Smith at
