Calling all Newbie’s and Ninja’s! You don't want to miss this two day event! Designed as an extension of our popular Google Mania bootcamp, the Google Extravaganza is a mixture of beginner and advanced Google Tools, Tips and Tricks, Add-Ons and Extensions.  Join select Google Certified Instructors, Innovators, Trainers and premier Featured Speakers in this engaging, hands-on event! 

You will participate in a variety of presentation styles with our high-quality METC Google Trained Community Members. Learn Google features and strategies to use in your classroom today, along with apps and shortcuts to use as a professional. Explore the tools and resources that best fit your needs, creating your own personal learning experience. Throughout the two days, dive into even more Google Apps, Extensions and Add-Ons to expand your learning and Google tool box. The hidden treasures will knock your socks off and have you saying WOW, where have I been!?

Bring your Google friendly devices: laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and 
other Android devices to participate in this two day event in partnership with the Google Educator Group of Eastern Missouri.

METC Google Extravaganza

Greg Lawrence is currently the Director of Technology for the Wentzville School District. As a former district instructional technology coach and a middle school computer and vocal music educator, he has seen and is motivated by the engagement technology creates. Greg has been instrumental in training and supporting Wentzville's 250+ high school educators as they began their 1:1 Student Initiative. He has worked with many school districts and presented at many regional and state conferences.

He is a Discovery STAR educator, serves on the METC PAC, ETA of STL Board (past), is a SMART Certified Trainer, and an adjunct professor for Missouri Baptist University. He is also a certified LoTi (Level of Teaching Innovation) Mentor. Greg was chosen as a Spotlight Educator for the Midwest Education Technology Conference (METC).

Greg is also a Google Apps Certified Administrator, Google for Education Certified Trainer, Google for Education Certified Innovator, and a co-leader for GEG (Google Educator Group) Eastern Missouri. He is also an Ambassador for WeVideo.
