Constant feedback with individualized assessment can boost student learning, but for teachers, that can prove overwhelmingly time-consuming. In this session we will look at strategies for effectively using online self-assessments, survey tools (like PearDeck), plagiarism checkers, TED-Ed talks and online chats to make individualized assessments and constant feedback less daunting! We will also discuss faster ways for grading writing assignments in ways tied to Danielson framework assessment indicators. At the end of the session, you will have a number of strategies for making classroom assessment better, both for the learner and for your own workload.
