BYOD: Getting Creative with Assessments (Part 1)

A variety of formative and summative assessments, can help keep students engaged and encourage creativity. This session will introduce easy to use formative assessments as well as creative ways to utilize the iPad to assess student understanding. You will have time to work with Socrative, Kahoot, Quizlet, Google Forms, Tellagami, Explain Everything, Book Creator, Strip Designer, and Adobe Spark. You will see how these tools have been successfully implemented in a variety of classrooms to assess student understanding. Many of these tools can be used on Chromebooks or iPads. If a given tool is not available on a device, there will be a substitute tool offered. Bring your device and join us in diving deeper during this hands-on session!
