More than a hashtag, #startswithus began in 2014 and continues to be the empathic battle cry against cyberbullying. In this session, student leaders will share how they came together with other schools to: deepen their understanding of the effects of harmful messages, design surveys to discovery the prevalence of negative messages in their schools, develop an online campaign to counter these messages, and how they impacted their schools for the better. More importantly, learn how you can support and empower students in your school to do the same.
