Is your grade-book riddled with F's and low effort scores? Are your students performing like zombies on your tests? As teachers it is our job to change and adapt to our students needs and the ever advancing and changing world. This means we must EVOLVE our teaching habits and mindsets, or we will become irrelevant and ineffective. Come learn how to change how you ask questions, and stage inquiry; and change your classroom...as well as your life! Learn strategies I use to decrease zeros and low effort scores; and increase engagement, critical thinking, and inquiry through PBL, asking the right questions, and student reflective blogging. By the end of the session, you will learn how to write and evaluate the quality of a good question prompt, create and post a first KIDBLOG post, and identify 5 strategies to increase student engagement.
