Mixed Realities (AR,VR) have made huge impacts in the workforce, entertainment--and education. Google's Cardboard created inexpensive entry points for Virtual Reality. The high end features virtual holodecks already used by districts. Augmented Reality also has inexpensive entry points. Mixed Realities enter the classroom in books, lessons, and real world interactions. Learn to make them and integrate Augmented Realities and Virtual Reality elements and learn appropriate ways to integrate them into the curriculum. The primary AR tool used is Aurasma, but others will be demonstrated. The primary VR tool shown will be Google Street View, because it is cross platform. These technologies change or are updated or displaced rapidly.
