Whether it's implementing a Makerspace or supporting literacy, the librarian connects the dots for the school. Today's students need us to be strong leaders who understand the importance of transforming libraries into vibrant hubs of active digital learning. This session will focus on moving beyond survival mode and exploring what it means to be a Future Ready librarian. At the end of this session, attendees will be familiar with the Future Ready Libraries Framework and be able to make connections back to their own library programs. You will also understand how to harness the opportunities you have available to lead beyond the library and influence your buildings in a variety of ways. A variety of technology tools will be shared that help to enhance the digital age library.
