Teachers considering how an elementary makerspace can take student engagement to the next level will find this interactive session practical and captivating. We will begin by engaging in module challenges that include robots, 3D printing, coding, & circuitry to identify the academic and social learning involved. We will then discuss how to build a makerspace considering management, operation, and content learning. You will leave this session KNOWING how a makerspace for lower elementary can be managed in the library or in the classroom. *Bringing a laptop or iPad is highly encouraged!
