Episode #2 Show Notes

The 21st Century Librarian

The role of the librarian has changed greatly within the past 10 years.  They are specialists of more than just books! In today's library you will find coding, Breakouts, makerspaces, and other activities taking place.  Gone are the days that students go to the library just to check out books.  Yes, of course students still check out books, but students learn so much more in our school libraries now.

In this episode I talked with 2 amazing educators that know first hand how this transformation has taken place.  We had great conversations on how the role of the librarian has adapted to meet the needs of their students.  They shared some great resources throughout the show.  Be sure to follow both Carolyn & JP as they can offer you some amazing resources to help you become a 21st century educator!
